So, I've been slacking really badly with my live journal. Maybe that will be my new year's resolution, even though how many ppl do you know that actually stick to those? Anyways, school is soooo busy, and first quarter just ended and I'm not happy with my grades, so I have vowed to work harder this quarter.... but I'm promising NOTHING. sticking to this vow, I must go prepare for tomorrow's history seminar (uggh). Wow, I haven't written in sooo long. Summer has ben way too busy for my liking. First it was Italy, which was fun, yet torturous at times, then it was a cruise to Mexico w/ the family, which was fun too, but I miss home and all my frinds. And tomorrow is Citlali's party, and I get to see everyone, and then I have to pack cuz we're going to England on wednesday for like 3 weeks. But I found out today that Ms. Alexander and Mr. Hodge are in Wales when we're in ENgland, so we're gonna go see them. I love Ms. Alexander. Haha, all the English bands are releasing music here. Like the song in the "Catwoman" commercial is my this band called Mis-Teeq, and my sister started freaking out when she heard it cuz she was soo excited about the song. And then that song turn me on by Kevin Lyttle, which is on like MTV and BET a lot, was out in October, and I really liked it then, but I think the music video is different. Atomic Kitten is this obnoxious pop girl group that my sister likes, and I heard they're coming out here, adn so are Busted (boy rock group) and the Sugababes (pop-r/b girl group). SO, ya. And now I'm rambling. |

So, I leave for Italy in like 12 hours. I didn't actually do too much packing yet, and I'm at my dad's house having a party w/ my sister and her friends (what a blast!not), but I'll go home early tomorrow and do it. I'm actually nervous about the trip. I'm kind of scared to fly, which is crazy cuz I'm never scared to fly. I mean, I flew to Virginia like 2 months after 9/11, and I went on Spring Break in Europe last year a few days after the war had started. Oh well. Maybe I'm just stressing for no reason, which is possible and very likely for me. Later Gators! |

So, school got out yesterday. I'm such a dork, but I'm kinda sad that school is over. I mean, I don't like homework, but I never get around to seeing my friends during the summer, and I'm away so much this summer that even if I did feel like calling one of them , I wouldn't have time to. Somehow, I have to squeaze in going to see Andrea w/ Jessie, cuz 8 weeks is wayyyyy to long to go w/o seeing her. But, that means I actuially have to call Jessie, then figure out when we're both free, then convince our parents that we can go, then actually go there. Way to much work, but Andrea, you're worth it!
I'm going to Italy next week! I guess I'm excited. I mean, it's gonna be really pretty, but I just don't feel like travelling right now. I'd rather stay home and see my friends, or whatever. Maybe it's just cuz I hate packing, and I don't know one of my room mates, or maybe it's cuz my friend has a different flight than me. I dunno. Either way, I'll try to call all of you sometime this summer, and I'll miss you tons!! |

So, we were having "family bonding nite" tonite and watching "Miracle" and god, Cerys really cracks me up. I've started her "dumb list" and I wrote down all the stupid things she said in like half an hour, but most of them were things where u need to be there. ANyways, here it goes:

Good times...
Last nite we had our Spring Concert. Funfun. Thanks to anyone who went! So, I guess we didn't suck that badly, which was very shocking, cuz I was expecting that we would suck and get booed. Ok, so I really wanna be in jazz band next yr cuz there's only one girl in there and that really inspires me, but i'd have to switch to sax, which I would love to do, but I'm away like 6 weeks this summer, so I'm not gonna have time to take lessons, unless I like teach myself, which I think I could do, cuz all the fingerings are the same as the flute, but I wouldn't be good enough. Whatever. Everything will work out as it's supposed to. |

Well, in biology today, we were talking about me being pessimistic, and I've decided that I'm not always pessimistic, adn I'm only pessimistic sometimes b/c ppl tell me all the time that I am. Like my step-mom, Linda. We were talking in the car like 2 months ago, and I had said that I hated like shrimp or something, and she was like, "God, Rhian, you hate everything. WHat is ur problem?" And I was like "I don't hat everything, just most of the stuff u talk about. From now on, we'll start keeping a list of everything II've said that I don't like. Ok, let's see, shrimp, ur shoes, and scottish accents". I don't even know how her shoes got involved in the conversation. But whatever.

So, last nite I went to Jim's with my mom cuz we always go there and there's this new waitor guy and he has this really weird accent so I don't know where he's from. We sat down and he came to take ou drink orders and he's like "Hello, Miss, (creepy grin on face) What can I get for u? Red wine? A beer?" and I was like "um, I'll just stick with a diet coke, please" and then he got this crazy look on his face like he was hypnotized by me, and it was soo scary! BTW, my family always teases me about the assistant manager guy b/c I think he's cute (his name is Justin). SO, I went to pay the bill with my mom's credit card like always, and he was at the register thing. For some reason, I have serious mental problems when it comes to filling in the reciept thing cuz I have to remember to sign my mom's name instead of mine and I have to remember how to tip, which is very difficult, so I always look like such a ditz when I'm there. I was having issues filling the little reciept thing and trying to remember to sign the rite name and how to tip, and Justin looks at my mom and winks to say what a dork I am. They actually talk about me when she goes there with other ppl. He was like, "haha, I get a better tip when it's ur daughter" and she was like "ya, I know. She dosn't know what she's doing". Thanks mom, I appreciate it. |

| Butterfly Hunt! |

Biology was funfunfun today! 4th period hid butterflies in the classroom and we got to hunt for them for extra credit, and then we hid ours and they're gonna look for them tomorrow.... so, I'm not telling anyone where any of mine are!! It's a secret! I only found 4 butterflies, but we only had 5 minutes and the room was dark. Not fair! the only bad part was when Ms. Wong made us clean the room before Open House, which is tonight, b/c some stupid person spilled dirt all over the back of the room and expected her not to noice.... idiots. I'm not gonna name any names, but....It was Hui!!!! Or so I heard through the "grapevine" or whatever they call it. ]
So, I'm really homesick at the moment and I REALLY wanna move back to England so badly! I mean, I'd miss u all soooooo much, but email works just as well for me. But, there's a very minimal chance that we'll move anytime soon. oh well. |

Hey! Katie L. said that I should start a Live Journal, so I did. Setting it up was kinda confusing, but I figured it out ok. So, Erica is sitting on my leg right now, and Linda got them the scariest hair cuts! I feel soooo sorry for them! Erica and Jazzy got like semi-mullet bob things, and I'm not sure about Rachel, but my sister said it was like a page boy cut, or something like that. Poor babies!
Now I'm watching Star Wars-Attack of the Clones on HBO. I don't know why... I don't even really like Star Wars. Oh well. At least Hayden what's his face is in it, and he's kinda cute. Haha Katie, remember when u were in love with him? Good times.. I remember the first time I saw him in a movie was Life as a House and I watched it on the way home from Spain. Wow, that was a sad movie!
